“Our second stay at this lovely cottage – peaceful spot but just a very short walk from the town and seafront (which is very popular with surfers at the weekends!). Cottage clean + had everything we needed – including Wi-Fi (not essential for us but useful for daytrip info etc)
Lots of walks from our doorstep – including a steep walk up to Lynton (worth it for the views of the Valley of the Rocks) or along the refreshing river to the National Trust teashop (cream teas delicious!) … or along the Countisbury cliffs (great views)!!
Would definitely recommend this cottage – with a note to say you need to park on the road/in carpark opposite and walk up a short steep slope to get to the property – something to bear in mind when packing!!”
